Originally from the Houston area, Katie Provenzano first came to Austin to major in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with a master in professional accounting, she moved to New York City and spent six years working for Ernst & Young, where she earned her CPA license. She returned to Austin at the end of 2008 and loves the active, but casual, lifestyle here. When she’s not crunching numbers for the Badgerdog team, she enjoys hiking, yoga, and tutoring elementary- through high-school students in geometry, algebra, Spanish, and SAT/ACT prep at the Austin Learning Center.
