• Why Do we hope
    ..Why Do we care
    .everyone says things
like Gandhi, MLK & the Pope

    Bad things end up happening
    after a Big Speech

    ..They die or get shot
    .They don’t give us hope
    .........just another reason
    .........to be sad.

They put words in our head
    to show how they can
    change the world and life.

    ..Look What happen to 9/11
..What did Bush do to help?
    Kids yelled and screamed.
    ............is that proof?

    So why do we hope?
    why do we care?
    ............I don’t.

I love you like I love myself
I love the way you always stay on guard
The way your feathers beg to be odd
the way you take charge and march
The way you fight for a reason
    Just like treason
The way you shake and wake me
up like a scream of love
    like a feather floating down
as if it has floated forever.

  • My love to you is like
a pot of stew, when I
see you I bubble to the brim
then . . . “PoP, PoP, PoP” hearts
fly in the air! Then I cry
    “don’t eat me because I
love you!” I weep to my feet
and you sweep at my feet
    while I weep!

  • Dear Bearretta,

I love the way you hug me,
I like the way you look.
It’s funny when you bake a cake,
    like a little cook.
I like it when you’re laughing,
    a high-pitched giggle.
But I like it most when you are
    just plain old rittle.

    Love Bearemy

    Yes, I’m the T.V.
I see you when people open the refrigerator door.
I wish I could see you more.
When I see you I feel at ease.
I love you, you big chunk of cheese.

I wrote your name in the sky
    the wind blew it away
I wrote your name in the sand
    the water washed it away
I wrote it on my eraser
    it got erased!
I wrote your name on me
    it got sharpened away
I wrote your name in me
now it is more than a name
