Youth Voices in Ink Community-Wide Reading Silver Voices in Ink Community-Wide Reading Youth Voices in Ink Community-Wide Reading At the culmination of each Badgerdog workshop session (Fall/Spring and Summer) Badgerdog proudly showcases participating student authors at its Community-Wide Reading/Anthology Release Party. This biannual event allows students the opportunity to read before a large, public audience, while celebrating their status as published authors. A reception and signing party follow the reading. The Community-Wide Reading for the Summer 2011 anthologies was held September 10, 2011, at St. David's Episcopal Church from 10 a.m. to noon.

Texas Book FestivalIn recent years, Badgerdog students of all ages have represented the Badgerdog Student Author community at the Texas Book Festival. Having developed their craft by working with some of Austin's most talented writers, students share the festival spotlight with world renowned authors, reading their original poems and stories from the Youth Voices in Ink Anthology. Silver Voices in Ink Community-Wide ReadingThe next Silver Voices in Ink Community-Wide Reading will be Saturday, January 21, at Space 12 from 10 a.m. to noon.
