Add a little literature to your child’s Spring Break! This year, Badgerdog’s teaching artists will host three days of creative writing workshops during spring vacation. Students can participate in one, two, or three days of workshop. Classes are held Tuesday, March 13, through Thursday, March 15, in the mornings from 9 a.m. to noon at the Griffin School, and all classes are led by professional writers—poets, fiction writers, and playwrights. Each day’s workshop will include a lesson in both poetry and prose writing, and all students are invited to submit their work for publication on Badgerdog’s online student blog, Unbound. Students are placed with young writers in their age group, and all workshops are capped at twelve students each. Workshops are open to students in grades 3 through 12.
